Description
I HAVE over 30 years of experience in environmental, health and safety management (EHS) in Argentina, and 10 years as a practicing EHS consultant. Prior to my career in consultancy, I´ve held a number of positions in industry and local government associated with environmental planning, waste management and pollution technology.
As a consultant, I´ve worked with a number of companies in Argentina in a very wide variety of industrial sectors (minery, energy, metalmechanic, general manufacturing, petroleum providing auditing, due diligence, management system and risk assessment advice. Since 2001 I´ve been retained as the external consultant in charge of all environmental matters for all Philip Morris Group facilities in Argentina.
I´ve been commissioned to conduct several compliance audits for due diligence projects, EHS audist and technical support to international auditor in several laboratories (Roche, Schering Plough, MSD, Bayer, Abbott and others.
I have written numerous articles on industrial safety, environment and environmental assessments. Many of these articles and papers are required reading in environmental science careers dictated in various academic institutions in Latin America such as University of Buenos Aires and University of La Plata (Argentina) and other in Colombia, Nicaragua, Venezuela, Peru and Mexico.
