Since graduating with a degree in Technology in Data Processing (BSc), I have gained experience throughout my career in both database administration and development. Over the past 14 years, I have become highly proficient in the installation, configuration, development and support of SQL Server and Oracle databases in various versions/editions, with extensive experience in designing, supporting and developing both OLTP and OLAP databases in high-availability/high-performance environments.
I believe that along with my strong technical background, my key qualities are my excellent interpersonal and communication skills combined with my ability to effectively organise and prioritise my own work and that of others, when required. I see myself as a highly dedicated, focused and driven individual.
