I worked on a project called CONTROLS, a kind of virtual reality emulation environment for testing, tuning, and optimizing a container terminal operating system (TOS). It models an exact digital replica of a realworld terminal and emulates all the types of terminal automation and cargo handling systems. I worked together with about 10 colleagues on the same application, the SCRUM methodology was very well implemented here. My responsibility was to implement new features for the different terminals, we cared a lot about the quality of the code (followed the clean code principles), so we did a code review after every feature/major change we implemented. I also had the opportunity to mentor/train colleagues when they joined the team. Technologies: * Java8/Java11 * Groovy * Hibernate * Junit 5, Mockito * git / GitLab * Jenkins * REST * Ivy

The application displayed statistics and insights based on real data (over a million database entries), I was responsible both for the back and front-end, with a help of a mentor who helped us with designing the application.
