This is Ganesh from Bangalore(INDIA). I have 3+ yrs of experience in BI/Datawarehousing using BI tools: Microsoft BI(SSIS,SSAS,SSRS),Tableau,Pentaho (ETL/BI) and Databases: Oracle 10g,Microsoft SQL SERVER 2012,Mysql.
Technical Proficiencies:
My role is to Design,Analyze and Development of Relational Database.(Microsoft SQL Server 2005,2008,2012),Creating T-SQL (Tables,Views,Procedures,Triggers and User Defined Functions).Performance tuning ,Creating Database backup and restore.
Extract the data from different sources ie (Excel,CSV,DB\'s and Raw data)or data integration and apply transformations , modifying , cleansing the data and loading the data in desired format in tables in Database using ETL TOOLS-( Microsoft SSIS ).
Creating Ad-hoc reports ,drill down reports, drill through reports ,parametrized reports and dashboards and visualizations using REPORTING TOOLS: Microsoft SSRS,TABLEAU 8.3)
Technical proficiencies used for Data analysis:
1) Experience in the Design,Development of Relational Databases.Experience in (PL/SQL ,T-Sql),Creation of Tables ,views ,Procedures,Triggers and User defined functions.
2) ETL - Extraction Transformation & Loading - Extract the data
from Sources like Excel,Databases,CSV files and raw data and
cleansing the data by applying transformations and load the data
into Datawarehousing. using ETL process.
ETL Softwares/ Tools : Microsoft (SSIS),Pentaho Kettle
3)Cubes and Reporting(KPI\'S ,Dashboards)- After loading the data into datawarehouse we have to create cubes or reports for turning the data into useful information.(like creating ad-hoc reports ,KPI\'s,parametrized reports,drill down reports,Charts,graphs,Dashboards).
